A short term multi-sensory handwriting program

Program Content and Development

The program offers 4 levels to fit all needs. (Levels A, B, C & D)

Each level has 2 sets of lesson plans. Each  set has 9 lessons and works on all the letters of the alphabet.  (18 lesson plans for each level, working through the alphabet twice but with new activities for the second set of lessons.) 

Level A 

Prewriting skills


A combination of writing readiness skills and learning the   uppercase print alphabet

The activities combine movement, music and learning experiences in a unique way to address all components of handwriting and to fit the needs of each level.

Level B

Print  skills


Learning upper and lower case print

These lessons are most effective when offered in a group setting and is appropriate

for small groups as well as classroom groups.

Level C

Advance print skills


Refining upper and lower case print skills for greater accuracy

Experience has shown it is great to offer as a 3 week summer handwriting camp. Participants can enroll in the first set, second set or both sets to fit their summer schedule.


Level D

Cursive writing skills


Learning  upper and lower case cursive and refining fluency

This unique program is complimented with additional techniques such as

  • brain activating activities
  • auditory integration activities
  • rhythmic pattern form writing to enhance fluency, speed and promote automatic fine motor movements associated with the movements used in the formation of all letters and the transition between letters
  • learning through gesturing to enhance learning and retention of information. (The gesturing activities developed for this program are enhanced with a verbalization component to enhance multitasking skills).
